User Data Deletion Instructions

Complete instructions for requesting data deletion, revoking Meta OAuth app permissions, and purging agency lead records in compliance with Meta Platform Policies and GDPR.

1. Overview & Meta Compliance#

In accordance with Meta Platform Terms, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and institutional data privacy standards, Gineey provides a clear, transparent, and automated procedure for users and performance agencies to request complete deletion of their account data, Meta access tokens, and stored lead form records.

Meta App Review & Compliance Notice

If you authorized your Facebook/Meta ad account with Gineey and wish to remove app permissions or purge your lead data, you may initiate deletion either through your Gineey Workspace Settings or via Meta Business Manager.

2. How to Request Deletion#

You can request complete data deletion using any of the following 3 options:

Option A: In-App Purge

Navigate to Workspace Settings → Security & Data inside your Gineey dashboard and click Purge Workspace & Data.

Option B: Email Support

Email our privacy team at privacy@gineey.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and your agency email.

Option C: Meta Callback

Remove Gineey under Facebook Settings → Business Integrations. Meta will send an automated user data deletion request to our callback endpoint.

3. What Data Is Deleted#

Upon receiving a confirmed data deletion request, Gineey permanently purges:

  • All Meta Graph API access tokens, refresh keys, and OAuth session records.
  • All lead form submissions, names, emails, phone numbers, and custom field responses.
  • All generated white-label PDF executive reports and cached client export files.
  • All team member invitations, RBAC roles, and workspace configuration settings.

4. What Data Remains#

To satisfy legal tax requirements and prevent fraudulent abuse, the following limited records remain in an anonymized state:

  • Anonymized billing transaction receipts (excluding credit card details).
  • Anonymized security audit logs (retained for 90 days for compliance audits).

5. Deletion Timeline & Confirmation#

Our data purge workflow operates according to the following strict timeline:

1. Request ReceivedConfirmation email sent within 2 hours
2. Token RevocationImmediate (OAuth tokens invalidated within 15 min)
3. Complete Server PurgePermanent database purge within 30 days

6. Meta User Data Deletion Callback#

For automated Meta Business Integration removals, Meta invokes our secure callback endpoint:

7. Data Deletion FAQ#

Can I recover my lead data after deletion?

No. Once data is purged from our production databases, it cannot be restored.
